About Us

In December 2006, Under The Red Umbrella opened its doors to the community of Everett.  To our surprise, the warm reception and excitement has grown to become a place where "Friends and Family Gather".  This charming and quaint neighborhood cafe creates an intimate surrounding with overstuffed couches and chairs along with a faux fireplace to nestle next to while sipping on a cappuccino.

Whether it's a simple breakfast before work of quiche and fresh fruit salad, we welcome you to sit, relax and read the morning paper.  For lunch, you can create your own sandwich or choose from one of our specialty sandwiches -- Singin' In The Rain is definitely a take home family favorite.  Why not compliment your order with one of our piping hot soups or freshly made deli salads.  Daily specials are created and await your arrival.  And, don't forget to save room for our delectable desserts.

As soon as the sun shines, Under The Red Umbrella becomes a sidewalk cafe with beautiful red umbrellas and tables.  Many patrons enjoy our gourmet deli salads and Tazo Iced Tea while basking in the sun.  The kids can create their own ice cream sundae or fruit Yoguccino topped with whipped cream.

On Friday evenings, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Under The Red Umbrella offers a soothing atmosphere to come and listen to local musicians perform jazz, folk, country and much more.  Bring your friends and family and enjoy one of our appetizers along with a glass of wine or a cold beer.  For the wine connoisseur, specialty wines are available.

We serve only the finest organic grown coffee by CITAVO.  Because this coffee is certified fair trade you will help farmers provide for their families and protect our environment with every cup you drink.

If your not a coffee drinker, we have a variety of teas for your enjoyment.

Owners Sandy O'Brien and Linda Geiger also own Celebrate! Catering in Everett.  Opening a cafe has always been a life-long dream for sister's Sandy and Linda.  Their love of family, friends and entertaining make just the right recipe to open Under The Red Umbrella.
